Create a new Tiki classic which is influenced by your surroundings, the city, the landscape, the sea. With the advances we have had in travel and exportation since the Golden Age of Tiki the dream of a tropical getaway, or even just a tropical drink has become accessible to most of us. This is your chance to create a tropic masterpiece to prove Tiki is a mindset. Not just a destination.
Rum Diary Spiced - A spiced rum created by bartenders for bartenders, designed with cocktails in mind. Brought to life on the streets of Fitzroy, Melbourne. Spiced by hand with flavour that compliments the taste of the tropics.
Finals will take place in Brisbane @ Alfred and Constance Tiki Bar, Fortitude Valley.

● Min. 30mls Rum Diary Spiced Rum● Max. 8 ingredients● House-made ingredients are permitted● NO USE OF ANY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR INGREDIENTS● The cocktail must have a notable signature inspiration to link it to Tiki classics and a notable link as how it has been inspired by your city, your landscapes, your heritage (Note: Tropical flavours, paradise spices, over the top garnishes, direct twists, vessel it’s served in e.g. Martini Glasses are very metropolitan for city inspired drinks, etc)● The cocktail can contain no more than 2.5 Standard Drinks
● Of All Things Tiki is open to Queensland Bartenders only● Enter by sending your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org● Your entry must include:➔ 1x ‘Of All Things Tiki’ cocktail (Name and Recipe)➔ 1x Hi-Res photo, this will be used for Social Media leading up to the event➔ 1x Bad chat of how your drink is inspired by Tiki Classics and Sky Scrapers (or just a story to reflect where you come from)● Entries Open 12:00am Monday 24th April● Entries must be in before Midnight, Sunday 21st May ● All competitors must be ready to compete on Tuesday.30th May. Finals will take place at Alfred & Constance Tiki Bar in Brisbane ● Each competitor will have 6 minutes to prepare and present their cocktail during the finals● Maximum 3 cocktails can be prepared for the judges but you can also just present 1 if you don’t mind the judges sharing● The Rum Diary Spiced Rum has the rights to use all recipes and drink images submitted in this competition - Original creator will be credited
